Introduction:
- The Anthem Template Configurator is used to build the Anthem template USB drive for version 1.18 and below. The template is used to configure your Anthem dispenser. The following steps outline the process for creating an Anthem Template USB drive.
- NOTE: Anthem version 1.20 will not use this method. if working on 1.20 or above, see the KB: ANTHEM 1.20 Templates
Instructions:
- Go to the DFS Extranet>>Technician Resourses >> NA Technical Library
- Download the newest Anthem Template Configurator package from the Extranet. It is packaged with the Implementation Guide.
- You can search for Anthem Implementation Guide or Template Configurator
- You can search for Anthem Implementation Guide or Template Configurator
- Launch the Setup.msi to install the template configurator.
- Format a USB drive to Fat32 (16GB recommended). This is the USB you will use to install the template on the ANT Board
- Launch the Anthem Template Configurator application

Select the combination of POS Provider / Customer / MNSP that matches the site being installed.
Note: The values utilized are listed in Appendix A of the Anthem Implementation Guide

Program your peripherals. The Printer, Scanner, and Card Reader pull-down menus are provided for future use and should not be changed. Contactless Reader should only be enabled on approved EMV sites.

In the bottom right-hand corner, select the correct time zone for the site

Export the Configuration Template.

Once all selections are made, select File > Export Configuration.

In the Save As window, select the root of your USB drive.

Do not change the file name of the template.

The export process will create a template folder on your USB drive. The template file will be saved in the \template folder on the selected USB drive.

Eject the flash drive using Windows Safely Remove Hardware and remove

Your drive is now ready for use on the Ant Board
